When Essenka Jewelry arrived at FotoProStudio, the challenge was not simply to take beautiful photos. The brand was about to launch and needed something far more strategic: to build its visual identity from scratch and convey, at first glance, the artisanal and emotional value of each piece.


This project was conceived as a complete visual system to accompany Essenka in its digital debut: website, social media, and online store. A clear case of how a well-directed production can become a branding and sales tool.

The challenge

Essenka Jewelry was at a critical yet opportunity-filled moment: the birth of the brand.


There was no prior visual identity or content history to set the direction. Everything was yet to be built. This implied a great responsibility: the first impression would define the brand’s perception in the medium and long term.


Essenka was targeting a very specific audience:


  • Women aged 25 to 45.

  • Sensitive to design, detail, and carefully curated aesthetics.

  • They seek jewelry with soul, conveying artisanal value without giving up a contemporary image.


The real challenge was not only to showcase the pieces, but to visually translate the brand’s values: delicacy, trust, elegance, and coherence.


In ecommerce, imagery replaces physical contact with the product. That’s why each photograph had to fulfill a dual function:

  • Emotionally seduce.

  • Reduce friction in the purchase decision.

Strategic objective of the project:

To create Essenka Jewelry’s online catalog presentation from scratch, highlighting the artisanal luxury of each piece and enhancing the shopping experience.

Visual concept and creative direction


Before turning on a camera, we developed the visual concept and moodboard as the foundation of the project. This phase was key to ensuring that all subsequent decisions—production, framing, lighting, and post-production—followed a consistent brand logic.


The goal was not to create isolated images, but to design a coherent and recognizable visual language capable of growing with the brand.

Mood & Aesthetic

  • Color palette: backgrounds in warm tones that convey warmth and elegance, combined with styling in whites and soft greens.

  • Feeling: naturalness, calm, and sophistication without artifice.

  • Highlight treatment: the focus had to come from light and material, not from excessive retouching.


Every decision aimed to reinforce a clear idea: artisanal jewelry with an elegant, honest, and contemporary presence.


This concept allowed the creation of a flexible visual system, suitable for both jewelry packshots and lifestyle images as well as audiovisual content.

On-Set production


The production was designed with a strategic approach: to generate a large volume of content without losing coherence or aesthetic quality. The set became a controlled space where every variable (lighting, framing, pacing, and direction) was planned to reinforce the brand’s identity.

Lighting

  • Carefully modulated warm lights.

  • Soft shadows that add depth and an immersive feel.

  • Brightness control to enhance textures, finishes, and materials.

Lighting was key to conveying artisanal luxury without falling into a cold or overly commercial aesthetic.


Set direction

  • Close-ups of hands and neck, designed to showcase the pieces with elegance.

  • Clean, timeless framing that does not steal attention from the product.

  • Alternation between packshot and lifestyle shots under a single visual narrative.

This direction allowed the creation of images suitable both for product pages and brand communication.

The project was expanded with audiovisual content to enhance the digital experience:

  • Main video for website header.

  • Short clips for social media.

  • Vertical formats optimized for stories.

  • MP4 exports ready for web and social platforms.

Movement added life to the catalog and helped reinforce the perception of quality and detail.

Post-Production: Consistency and detail


Post-production was the stage where the entire visual system came together. Beyond technical retouching, the goal was to ensure that each image was part of a cohesive, recognizable set aligned with the brand.


  • Beauty retouching on skin, neck, and hands, always maintaining a natural finish.

  • Removal of small spots and imperfections.

  • Subtle enhancement of shades and tones.

  • Fine adjustment of color and lighting to ensure consistency across the catalog.


This work ensured that, regardless of format or final use, the images functioned as a whole rather than as isolated pieces.

  • Over 800 photographs taken, providing the client with a wide selection and versatile usage options.

  • A clean and consistent catalog, where packshots and lifestyle images share a unified visual identity.

  • Complete multimedia content, including a header video and specific clips for Instagram.

  • Total operational efficiency: Essenka was able to delegate the entire visual production and focus on product, strategy, and sales.

  • Immediate impact on the launch: the first campaign on social media and the website showed a clear improvement in the shopping experience and brand perception.


The new visual identity allowed the online store to be optimized from day one, generating greater trust and a smoother user experience.
