On platforms like Amazon, photography is a direct tool for understanding, trust, and conversion.
The work carried out for Airalia was developed with this reality in mind. Airalia’s dehumidifier is a technical product, with multiple functionalities and clear benefits, and it required imagery capable of explaining, convincing without exaggerating, and standing out without breaking the platform’s rules.
In e-commerce and Amazon, the image does not seek impact as much as visual effectiveness.

Understanding Amazon as a visual system

Amazon is a highly competitive environment, governed by strict rules and by extremely limited user attention. Each image must justify its presence and fulfill a specific function.
The initial approach to the project started from a clear premise: not all images work for Amazon, and not all good photographs perform well in a marketplace.
The objective was to build a visual set that addressed three key needs:
Immediate understanding of the product.
Clear reading of benefits and features.
Visual coherence that builds trust.
The importance of showing the technical side

Airalia’s dehumidifier is a product with multiple selling points: capacity, drainage systems, ease of use, design, portability, and maintenance.
The challenge was not to show everything, but to show it clearly.
The main difficulty was avoiding:
Images overloaded with information.
Confusing or hard-to-read graphic elements.
Redundant messages across images.
The solution was to structure the visual content as a logical sequence, where each image fulfills a specific function within the user journey.
The main image as the entry point

The main image was developed with maximum cleanliness: white background, perfectly lit product, and no distractions. On Amazon, this image does not compete through style, but through clarity and professionalism.
Here, the photograph acts as a visual guarantee: it conveys order, reliability, and quality even before getting into the technical details.
Hierarchy, clarity and immediate reading
The secondary images were designed with a clear visual hierarchy. Each composition prioritizes one main message, supported by iconography and short, easily scannable text.
The work focused on:
Organizing information by levels of importance.
Using graphic design as a reading guide.
Maintaining typographic and color consistency.
The result is an image system that can be understood even without in-depth reading, adapted to real user behavior on Amazon.

Visual consistency and brand trust
Beyond the informative function, the project aimed to consolidate a recognizable visual identity for Airalia within the Amazon environment. Consistency across images reinforces the perception of a solid, well-crafted, and professional brand.
In the retouching stage, control of color, lighting, and graphic treatment ensures that the product is perceived as equally reliable in every image, avoiding visual inconsistencies that could create doubt.

Video as reinforcement of understanding
Within the Amazon ecosystem, video acts as a trust accelerator. It allows the product to be shown in real use, clarifies operational doubts, and reduces the distance between the technical sheet and the user experience.
For Airalia, the video was conceived as a direct extension of the photographic visual system. It does not aim for spectacle, but for clarity: showing the dehumidifier in operation, its interface, the drainage system, and its everyday use in a home environment.
The pacing, framing, and duration were adjusted to the fast consumption typical of the marketplace, prioritizing:
Immediate understanding of how it works.
Visual reinforcement of key benefits.
Aesthetic continuity with the static images.
In this way, the video does not compete with the photography, but complements it, providing a more direct and functional reading of the product and contributing to a safer and more informed purchasing experience.
