Flabelus Photoshoot - FotoProStudio

The work carried out for Flabelus, a brand with a recognizable identity, a strong presence, and a clear contemporary vocation, requires an image that does not oversimplify its proposal or impose an external aesthetic.

It is not merely about producing photographs to meet a specific need, but about designing a visual language capable of sustaining a brand’s narrative over time.

When the image stops being an isolated resource

In established brand projects, imagery cannot function as a one-off solution. Each photograph becomes part of an existing archive and influences future visual decisions.

The main challenge of this project was organizing diversity: different types of garments, varying levels of interpretation, and multiple usage needs.

The risk did not lie in complexity, but in fragmentation.

It was essential to avoid:

  • A different visual language for each type of session.

  • Shifts in criteria within technical photography.

  • An overly defined aesthetic that would limit the lifespan of the images.

The objective was to build a visual system where each image made sense on its own, but also within the brand’s overall framework.

A tailor-made photoshoot

Behind the scenes - FotoProStudio

The production was organized into several clearly differentiated blocks: footwear photography, invisible mannequin, and model sessions. Rather than treating them as independent pieces, each block was integrated within the same visual logic.

This way of working made it possible to define from the outset what each type of image should contribute and how it would relate to the others. Coherence was not pursued through repetition, but through criteria.

Product photography as a starting point

The footwear sessions on a white background, accompanied by audiovisual resources, form the most technical foundation of the project. Here, the image serves a clear descriptive function: to present the product with precision, without interference or unnecessary interpretation.

Lighting, framing, and color treatment were designed to ensure:

  • Color accuracy.

  • Clear readability of volumes and materials.

  • Consistency between photography and video.

This type of image is essential in commercial and digital environments, where user trust is built on visual clarity. Neutrality does not imply a lack of intention, but absolute control of the message.

The active neutrality of the invisible mannequin

The invisible mannequin block introduces a different way of reading the product. By removing the body, the garment becomes the absolute protagonist.

This type of image demands high technical precision: every fold, every seam, and every proportion must remain credible without the support of a model. The visual direction focused on preserving the garment’s structure, respecting its volume and natural behavior.

Far from being auxiliary images, these photographs function as key pieces within the brand’s visual archive. They reinforce the perception of quality, construction and attention to detail, and allow for a direct and honest reading of the design.

Model photography sessions

The sessions with a model add a more narrative layer. Here, the garment enters into a relationship with the body, gesture and attitude, expanding the spectrum of interpretation.

The first session was developed on colored backgrounds (yellow, pink and blue), understood as structural elements of the visual discourse. Color does not act as a simple setting, but as an active component that interacts with the garments and enhances their graphic character.

These images introduce rhythm, energy and a more editorial dimension, without losing formal control or blurring the product.

Color, background and visual rhythm

In contrast to the expressiveness of color, white offers a more timeless and functional reading.

This contrast between backgrounds allows the brand to have images adaptable to different uses: from more emotional and expressive communication to formats where clarity and neutrality prevail.

The balance between both approaches broadens the scope of the visual archive without breaking its internal coherence.

Technical control and aesthetic coherence

In all sessions, photography direction and post-production were approached with a logic of restraint. The work focused on:

  • Consistent color adjustment across sessions.

  • Control of texture and material.

  • Clean definition of silhouettes.

  • Visual continuity between technical and editorial registers.

Post-production was deliberately kept sober, avoiding overly pronounced solutions or those dependent on trends. The objective was to build images capable of standing the test of time.

A visual archive designed to last

The final result is a broad, structured and strategic visual archive, conceived to accompany the brand across different contexts without the need to constantly redefine itself.

More than a collection of photographs, the project creates a solid visual foundation that allows Flabelus to communicate with coherence, clarity and personality across all its channels.

When the image is conceived from the process and not only from the immediate result, it becomes a positioning tool. In this type of production, the true value does not lie in momentary impact, but in the ability to build a consistent, flexible and long-lasting visual identity.
